Jigsaw Whanganui is the trading name of Family Support Services Whanganui Trust.

This postion is one one a team of 6 social workers reporting to the Social Work Co-ordinator.
The key responsibility is to provide intensive home-based social work including advocacy and education to a case load of families with complex needs.

Required competencies are :

+ Registration with the Social Worker Registration Board and Membership of ANZASW (or a willingness to achieve these)
+ Experience in working effectively within task centred and strengths-based models of practise
+ A practical understanding of the needs of contemporary families

+ Able to relate effectively to whanau, iwi maori and tau iwi.
+ A willingness to travel through the agency's area of operations
