Housed at jigsaw whanganui the Family Violence Integrated Services Project is a well established collaboration of 16 front-line statutory, iwi and community services working together to ensure the best possible support to local whānau and families impacted by violence.
We are seeking a qualified social worker (or similar) with a sound analysis of and experience in engaging with whānau and families impacted by violence, along with excellent project management and facilitation skills to continue leading this project. While some administrative support is provided, the ability to effectively manage a database is also essetial.
The project is a key initiative of the Whanganui Family Violence Network and reports to its Governance Group. jigsaw whanganui offers a nurturing and very rewarding staff environment based on respect, teamwork, strong professional support and committment to excellent practice.
