White Ribbon Day, 25 November 2010
jigsaw whanganui supports White Ribbon Day, which is the international United Nations day when people, particularly men, wear a white ribbon to show that they do not condone violence towards women. It is a time when men show their leadership and commitment to ending this abuse. No family violence is acceptable. If someone within the family is being frightened or intimidated by the behaviour of someone else, it is not OK!

Men of Whanganui march!
On Thursday 25 November 2010 upwards of 500 men chanted "speak out, stand up, stop the violence" as they marched up Victoria Ave to show their commitment and pledge to never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women.
